The Parish
Caring Committee
ministers to members of the parish and others who are ill or
have some special need. Examples of this ministry include:
- Cards are sent each month to
the sick and shut in of the parish
- Rides are provided for any
who do not have transportation to the church
- Rides are provided to doctor
appointments, shopping, and other necessary things that a
person cannot otherwise do on their own.
- Baby sitting and house
sitting can be provided to a family during funeral services
of a family member
- Meals are prepared and
served in the Fellowship Hall after funerals for families
that want them
- Singles 'get-togethers' are
planned
- Shut-ins are remembered with
small gifts and flowers on special holidays
