For Children
Nursery Care
Child care is provided in our
Nursery on the main floor during the 9:00 am service Sunday mornings for
children up to two years old. Many parents pick up
their children from the Nursery and bring even the
very young to church to receive Communion or a
blessing.
Children's
Chapel
A Sunday service for children
ages three through seven is held during the service
in a location away from the main sanctuary. It provides an
opportunity for the children to hear a Bible story,
pray, sing and begin to learn the rituals of the
Church in a relaxed and nurturing environment while
parents are in church. Children join their parents
in the church for Communion.
Sunday
School
St. Andrew's Sunday School
offers an environment in which a child experiences
God's love, acceptance and the Christian faith.
Age-graded Bible education is introduced in creative
and engaging ways, so that all who are involved may
fully live into the life of Christ that we receive
through baptism and personal faith. Sunday school
runs from September through May.
First Communion
Classes
These classes are held each
Spring and prepare the children of St. Andrew's to
receive their first communion in May.
Vacation
Bible School
St. Andrew's offers a week-
long Bible adventure for children in Kindergarten
through grade 6. A theme is chosen for each
week and the readings and activities follow that
theme. Vacation Bible School is an excellent
opportunity for Middle and High School students to
participate in teaching and leadership activities.

Wednesday evenings are filled with opportunities for
