Community
Outreach
Committee members provide a
variety of help to the community and to the parish. Many of our parishioners are
involved as volunteers in various aspects of
community outreach, including Meals on Wheels,
Blood Banks, nursing home programs and
visits, Volunteers for Habitat
for Humanity, and as hospital volunteers.
During Lent, Small Groups
take on a project to help folks in the community. Many of the
projects range from food drives, clothing drives, visitations to
the sick or confined, and spending more time in the church
building helping with projects.
Share-In is a
twice-a-year parish event where clothing and
household items are gathered and given away to the
needy in our area.
Thanksgiving and Christmas
baskets for needy families have long been a part
of the community outreach of St. Andrew's.
St.
Andrew's Anglican Church is a member of the Exodus Church
Network, an interdenominational Christian organization
promoting the message of freedom from homosexuality through the
power of Jesus Christ. For more information about this ministry,
